📋 Description
- Own complex revenue positions for AI-native companies, focusing on high-impact revenue recognition projects
- Analyze and implement accounting for complex revenue, incl non-standard contracts and usage-based models
- Review complex revenue arrangements to identify terms affecting recognition
- Design and implement systems to automate revenue recognition in line with policies
- Partner with Deal Desk, GTM, and Strategic Finance to standardize deal approvals and optimize recognition
- Execute ASC 606 evaluations and draft comprehensive revenue accounting memos
🎯 Requirements
- 6+ years ASC 606 for SaaS, consumption-based, and professional services
- 6+ years in internal controls, SOX/ICFR, audit, financial process risk in tech/SaaS
- Proven experience advising Product and GTM on revenue recognition implications
- Strong contract review experience with multi-element arrangements, milestones, and credit/usage models
- Familiarity with order-to-cash workflows and revenue automation tools (e.g., NetSuite ARM)
- Demonstrate knowledge of consumption-based and subscription billing models with complex pricing
