Finance Analyst - Revenue Recognition at Matillion

📋 Description

• Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support application of revenue recognition policies under IFRS 15.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to reconcile revenue, billing, and collections.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, IT, FP&A, and Deal Desk to understand contract terms and support revenue assessments.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements for revenue processes.
• Support internal and external audits, including audit schedules and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit, ideally within SaaS/global accounting.
• Exposure to revenue recognition with IFRS 15/ASC 606.
• ERP systems experience (Oracle or NetSuite preferred).
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude and desire to learn and grow within a fast-moving, collaborative global team.
