Software Engineer, Security at Gamma

📋 Description

• Design and implement security controls across AWS infra and app layer
• Build security tooling and automation to detect, prevent, and respond to threats at scale
• Conduct security reviews of architecture designs, code, and infra changes
• Lead vulnerability management, coordinate bug bounty responses, and drive remediation priorities
• Develop and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
• Partner with engineering teams on secure coding practices and threat modeling

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2-3 years in security engineering
• Strong AWS security experience: IAM, VPC, security groups, CloudTrail, GuardDuty
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go; building security tools
• Deep OWASP Top 10 knowledge; secure coding in CI/CD and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Clear communicator; works well embedded with product engineering teams
• Background in penetration testing, offensive security, and SIEM/log analysis
