We are a growing plaintiff-side law firm seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Manager to help support and strengthen pre-litigation operations. This role is ideal for a leader with deep personal injury experience who can bring strong oversight, sound judgment, and operational consistency to a busy team environment.

This position will play an important role in helping improve case movement, team accountability, and process efficiency across the pre-litigation function. The right candidate will be comfortable working with experienced team members, monitoring performance trends, supporting workflow improvements, and helping ensure cases move forward effectively and consistently.

What you’ll do

  • Team Leadership and Support: Provide day-to-day leadership to the pre-litigation team through regular check-ins, coaching, and performance conversations, while helping reinforce clear expectations and accountability.
  • Case Oversight: Review case progress and key work product, provide strategic input where needed, and help ensure quality, consistency, and alignment across the pre-litigation process.
  • Case Movement and KPI Monitoring: Track case progression across phases, monitor key performance indicators, and identify opportunities to reduce delays and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Support a results-oriented environment by helping establish expectations, monitor outcomes, and address performance issues with professionalism and consistency.
  • Process Improvement and Training: Identify inefficiencies, recommend workflow improvements, and support training or reinforcement of best practices to strengthen team performance and operational consistency.

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant Experience: Significant experience in personal injury law with a strong focus on pre-litigation, including prior leadership, supervisory, or team management responsibilities.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience using case management systems to monitor workflows, track performance, and support reporting. Experience with Filevine is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven ability to work effectively with experienced staff, provide direction and accountability, and support performance improvement in a professional and constructive way.
  • Strategic and Operational Thinking: Able to identify bottlenecks, solve problems proactively, and balance big-picture thinking with day-to-day execution.
  • Core Traits: Strong judgment, confidence, follow-through, adaptability, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
