Interim Onboarding & Offboarding Supervisor (Volunteer/Remote) at Abuse Refuge Org
Job Description
Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff
Work in collaboration with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Talent Acquisition leadership team
Oversee a team working in Onboarding and Offboarding
Develop new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process
Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded for new volunteers and tasks among team members are completed on time.
Work with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from all platforms
Communicate with managers in other departments about new team members.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Work closely with the HR Department to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate global-level initiatives.
Attend monthly team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.
Provide constructive and timely performance feedback.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
Understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (a plus).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Must be available to volunteer 10-15 hours a week.
Based in the USA and able to work set hours (neg).
