Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total experience 5+ years.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining multi-tenant web applications using PHP with Gutenberg, React, and SQL Server.
  • Should be able to design and deliver custom themes and plugins, develop React-based Gutenberg blocks, integrate REST APIs, and collaborate in an Agile team to ship customer-facing features with strong engineering and coding standards.
  • Hands on experience in working with MS SQL Server 2019 to design, optimize, and manage complex databases.
  • Should be able to build and maintain high-performance, secure WordPress websites on AWS.
  • Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end development tools.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP and React code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and DevOps engineers.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of front-end with back-end services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that your ideas, strategies, and successes resonate within the team and with clients.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Writing and reviewing great quality code.
  • Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project.
  • Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it.
  • Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets.
  • Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
  • Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
  • Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
  • Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
  • Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs.
  • Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
