About the Role
Join Moonpig as a Buyer for our New Markets team, focused on growing our Irish gifting range. Based in London with hybrid working, this role combines commercial ownership with creativity and data-led decision making. You’ll shape a compelling, locally relevant product range, manage key supplier relationships, and drive performance across the Irish market.
Working closely with the Head of Buying, you’ll identify and launch new brands, optimise trading performance, and ensure our gifting offer delights customers while delivering strong commercial results. It’s a hands-on role in a fast-paced, tech-led environment with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Own and manage supplier relationships, building and developing brands on the platform
⢠Use customer insights, trading data and market trends to shape range, pricing and promotions
⢠Manage product setup on the platform, aligning with range plans and business needs
⢠Oversee merchandising across the Irish website and app, partnering with Content teams to optimise performance
⢠Align with Supply Chain to ensure timely stock availability and smooth product launches
⢠Influence the product roadmap to enhance the Irish gifting proposition
⢠Collaborate with Content, Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to drive growth
⢠Develop and implement effective pricing strategies
⢠Represent Moonpig Ireland in the market, attending trade shows and identifying emerging trends
About You
⢠Solid experience as a Buyer or Category Manager, ideally within e-commerce, retail or gifting
⢠Proven track record of delivering results through effective ranging, pricing and trading decisions
⢠Strong analytical mindset with confidence using data to guide decisions
⢠Experience managing complex or personalised products, including seasonal or fast-paced environments
⢠Commercially astute with strong attention to detail and numerical confidence
⢠Skilled negotiator with experience building senior-level supplier relationships
⢠Clear and confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders across the business
⢠Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
⢠Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing, fast-moving environment
