📋 Description

• On-site fire inspections/surveys across UK and Ireland
• External wall surveys for new builds and refurbishments
• Fire stopping and fire compartmentation surveys
• Fire door inspections and occasional fire risk assessments
• Support fire safety disciplines at Jensen Hughes

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or related field
• Full Irish driving licence and private vehicle
• Basic fire safety design knowledge for different buildings
• External wall surveys experience desirable but not essential
• Fire compartmentation surveys desirable but not essential
• Author technical reports using digital software and MS Word
• Able to work independently and manage workload
• Willing to develop skills within the wider team
• Knowledge of fire risk assessment processes desirable
• Knowledge of construction methods and external wall fire performance
• Knowledge of internal passive fire protection products and testing regimes
• Knowledge of refurbishment schemes and advising contractors on-site
• Travel to client sites with overnight stays likely
