Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join the Apogee People team and lead recruiting. This individual will be responsible for hands-on recruiting and building and leading the recruiting team. This position requires an experienced recruiter, who is detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has managed recruiters in the past. This role will report to Apogee’s Head of People.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to develop hiring plans and identify technical skills and behavioral competencies required for each role
- Source, qualify and recruit candidates for key open requisitions
- Track candidate activity within our Applicant Tracking System (Lever)
- Establish a comprehensive recruiting process that enables us to scale quickly
- Ensure a seamless recruiting and onboarding experience
- Manage recruiters and search firm relationships
- Build Apogee’s reputation in the candidate market
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years’ experience in recruiting
- Experience recruiting for clinical roles is a must
- Experience in biotech preferred
- Detail-oriented, structured thinker with exceptional communication skills
- Able to navigate ambiguity and has a high sense of urgency
- Managed recruiters in the past
