Senior Embedded Software / AOSP Engineer at NEX

📋 Description

• Bring up new platforms and hardware; optimize AOSP OS for SoC, GPU, and NPU.
• Design system APIs, HAL, and framework layers with app/game/CV/ML teams.
• Tune image processing, CV, and ML pipelines for on-device performance.
• Own system security end-to-end—harden boot, keys, and patches.
• Profile and debug with perfetto, systrace, tcpdump, Arm Mobile Studio.
• Partner with SoC vendors and ODM/JDM on BSP drops and silicon issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building embedded system software.
• AOSP/BSP/SoC bringup across multiple versions.
• AOSP build system and release tooling knowledge.
• Track record shipping massively deployed embedded products.
• Android/Linux internals: kernel, drivers, HAL, SELinux, verified boot; low-level debugging.
• Nice to Have: TV/set-top/gaming experience; cameras/ISPs; OSS contributions.
