Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform at IDme

📋 Description

• Own and operate core data infrastructure (event streaming, DB, batch)
• Design reliable, observable, scalable data systems for real-time and batch
• Automate governance, retention, and compliance with auditability
• Partner with Platform/SRE teams to improve data access, SLAs, and recovery
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning standards
• Data lake architecture for batch and streaming workloads

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in CS, SE, or related field
• 8+ years in data or distributed systems engineering
• 6+ years programming in Go, Python, or Java; automation focus
• PostgreSQL in cloud environments
• Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Dataflow, or Temporal
• Terraform, Kubernetes, or Helm experience
