• Be Pivot's first AI engineer and define the agentic product roadmap.
• Ship end-to-end AI features: docs, workflows, anomaly detection, copilots.
• Build the core LLM layer: prompts, retrieval, tool calls, agents.
• Set up AI foundations: evals, datasets, versioning, observability.
• Design scalable AI architecture: routing, caching, retries, vector storage.
• Own quality and performance for enterprise AI features: accuracy, latency, auditability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering; 2+ years shipping AI/ML features; strong Python or backend.
• LLM stack experience: frontier/open-source models, RAG, embeddings, vector DBs.
• MLOps basics: eval pipelines, data versioning, monitoring, drift detection.
• Backend systems & micro-services: DBs, APIs, security, performance, event-driven.
• Translate best practices to AI: evals as tests, prompts as code.
• Fluent in English; business language.
