Protective Life is seeking a General Accounting Analyst for our bank reconciliations team. This team member plays a critical role in keeping the company’s financial foundation strong. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, investigating variances, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data that supports business decisions. You’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise financial systems, collaborate with partners across the organization, and contribute directly to month-end and year-end close activities.
This position is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented accounting professional who wants to build a strong career in financial operations while developing technical skills, business acumen, and process improvement expertise within a highly regulated industry.

Minimum Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP or similar enterprise financial systems.
The internal title for this position is Analyst, General Accounting.
