Mission Manager at Defense Unicorns

📋 Description

• Serve as Mission Manager for the assigned Delivery Effort
• Collaborate with Domain and Vertical Tech Leads to set a technical roadmap
• Align product roadmaps to the technical roadmap and flag mission feature dates
• Facilitate Delivery-Product feedback on OSS projects and productized services
• Work with Tech Leads to align Delivery and Product roadmaps
• Travel 4-12 times per year

🎯 Requirements

• Translate pain points into root causes; build a value-delivery roadmap
• Proficient in modern software practices: DevSecOps, CD, and User-Centered Design
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
• Skilled in expectation management across different personas
• Experience delivering software for Mission Success in tech or DoD
• Familiarity with federal government contracts, procurement vehicles, and budget process
