Senior Data Engineer - AI Platform at Ebury

📋 Description

• Design and deliver core components of the Agentic Data Plane (A2A, Tool Registry, governed data access)
• Build platform primitives for secure tool coordination, including OBO patterns and audit logging with replayability
• Provide end-to-end observability for agentic products: data dependencies, traces, evaluation signals, accountability
• Integrate the ADP with Data Platform foundations — catalog, metadata, data warehouse, vector retrieval
• Collaborate with domain teams to onboard pilot agents and adopt platform standards
• Drive innovation with AI tech: LLM evaluation, prompt safety, agent memory

🎯 Requirements

• Platform engineering experience building internal platforms for other teams
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: API design, reliability, testing, operability
• Secure systems: authentication/authorization, audit logs, least-privilege access, governance
• Hands-on experience operating production services on GCP incl Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
• Proficiency in Python for platform services, data transformation, tooling
• Experience with agentic or LLM-based systems in production (strong plus)
