Senior Manager, Hedge Accounting at Ripple

📋 Description

• Serve as SME for hedge accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9.
• Review/approve hedge docs, designation memos, objectives, and testing.
• Oversee effectiveness assessments (regression, dollar-offset, hypothetical).
• Guide clients in structuring hedges to qualify and optimize outcomes.
• Translate FASB/IASB updates into clear summaries for clients and teams.
• Lead audit support at Director level with external auditors.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience; 7+ years in derivatives.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Deep fluency in ASC 815 and IFRS 9; practical hedge elections and testing.
• Strong understanding of derivative instruments across asset classes.
• Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Chatham, Reval, FIS Quantum).
