Group Function - Privacy Legal Counsel at NetEase Games

📋 Description

• Role: mid-level Group Privacy Legal Counsel in International Legal.
• Oversee global privacy compliance and data risk for NetEase.
• Advise product/engineering on privacy-by-design and AI.
• Lead DPIAs, cross-border transfers, and data localization.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs and privacy provisions.
• Coordinate incident response and regulatory notifications.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and/or Canada.
• 4–8 years in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, or AI tech law.
• Mix of top law firm and in-house experience preferred.
• Tech literacy: data flows, cloud computing, IT architecture.
• Languages: English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Location: Preferably Hong Kong or Singapore.
