Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Citizen Dev) at Airwallex

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate the citizen‑developer platform and tools.
• Define tooling and patterns with citizen developers.
• Own developer experience and platform guardrails.
• Build and maintain the Temporal‑based workflow infrastructure.
• Contribute to Kubernetes and GitOps foundations (ArgoCD, Terraform).
• Participate in code reviews, on‑call rotation, and incident response.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in Software / Platform Engineering roles, building backend services.
• Strong hands-on with a typed backend language (Golang/Java) and Python or Bash.
• Design/build internal platforms or tooling with a focus on developer experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps practices/tooling (ArgoCD, Terraform).
• Experience building platforms for non-product users or citizen developers.
• Proven experience with Temporal or similar workflow/orchestration systems.
