This role has been categorized as a Remote position. âRemoteâ employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Team members may live in the following locations: El Salvador, Mexico, or Colombia.

Your Mission: Deliver complex stories by end of sprint
- Develop Collaboratively: Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, advancing best practices, identifying blockers, and mentoring peers and more junior team members.
- Deliver Value: Perform thorough functional testing, regression testing, edge case testing and (where possible) basic api or automation testing.
- Work Autonomously: Write detailed test cases, develop testing reports and develop robust testing plans.
- Provide Guidance: Support more junior team members in performing documentation and testing techniques.
- Client Interactions: Confidently present full test plans and sprint reports, documenting overall product status.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Key Activities: Demonstrate acceptance criteria understanding, share daily progress, limit QA kickback, deliver stories as assigned
- How a Current Praxenter Describes The Role: âMy normal day involves developing new features, fixing bugs, and attending a few meetings. When there are high priority items or major releases, weâll spend extra time coordinating with the team, raising blockers, and assisting QA. Some days will have time allocated for prepping any work to be demo'd to the client to ensure weâre deliver the value they expect.â
Your Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: demonstrable proficiency with the following:
- Manual testing
- Postman
- Managing test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Additional knowledge and experience in AI assisted testing (Claude Code, Cursor, CoPilot etc.) is a nice to have
- Practical Experience: 3-5 years professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including ongoing adherence of best practices, leading and executing manual testing for web and mobile applications, and leveraging industry-standard tools to ensure optimal product quality across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Client Leadership: Experience collaborating with client stakeholders during sprint planning and documenting technical approaches.
- Outcome Orientation: Experience understanding and articulating the business outcomes that your development projects impact.
- Relevant Education: may include intensive programs, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a equivalent experience.

About the Project:
On this project you will be working with one of the largest education-focused nonprofits in the country, dedicated to empowering families to access the learning options that best fit their children's needs. For more than two decades, the organization has administered need- and access-based K-12 scholarship programs that have funded over a million educational opportunities for students, channeling nearly all of every dollar received directly into student scholarships. Operating at significant scale, the organization manages multiple scholarship programs spanning private school tuition, students with unique abilities, personalized and home education, and transportation support, while partnering with thousands of schools, service providers, and donors statewide.
