Accounting Trainee at Allata
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Accounting Trainee to join our Finance team and support daily accounting operations, reporting, compliance, and administrative processes. This role is ideal for someone who is starting their career in accounting and wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with exposure to both local and international finance operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with numbers, systems, and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Support bookkeeping activities, including invoice registration and record keeping.

Perform account reconciliations and transaction review.

Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records.
Reporting & Analysis

Support the preparation of accounting reports and financial summaries.

Help identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities to improve processes.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Tax & Compliance Support

Assist with the preparation and organization of documentation for VAT, turnover tax, withholding tax, and income tax filings. Collaborate with third-party accounting firms as needed.

Support tax audits and compliance requests.

Help verify supplier information and tax status.
Operational Support

Assist in vendor registration and supplier documentation management.

Support payroll-related processes and documentation. Collaborate with third-party payroll firms as needed.

Work closely with HR, Compliance, and Management teams.

Assist in vendor and internal client inquiries.
Systems & Tools

Use accounting software (Netsuite) and ERP tools to support daily operations.

Work with Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
Must Have Qualifications:

Student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, Argentinian tax and corporate regulations.

Strong interest in accounting and financial processes.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
