Senior QA Automation Engineer at ShyftLabs

📋 Description

• Build, maintain and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber
• Develop and execute Web and API automation integrated with GitLab CI/CD
• Design reusable automation components and drive COE-wide automation standards
• Stabilize and optimize smoke, regression, and CI/CD test suites
• Analyze test failures, provide root-cause insights, and corrective actions
• Promote automation best practices and knowledge sharing

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software testing with automation
• Strong automation framework design experience for Web, API, Mobile
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber, Appium
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure) and Git
• Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, Confluence, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL
• Strong knowledge of automation best practices, test design patterns, and reusable components
• Experience in Agile environments and collaborating across distributed teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or pet industry is a plus
