Role description and responsibilities

At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our consultants ("Rhinos") and our clients. As a Staff Python Engineer, you will work in a remote regime based in Portugal, bringing principal-level and leadership experience to a client engagement within the tech industry. You will have access to a network of national and international partners across diverse sectors, supported by a career coach to ensure your professional well-being and growth.

Requirements

10+ years of experience working as a Python Engineer, with principal and leadership experience
Coding experience using Python as well as FastAPI
Exposure to Azure environment as well as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Fluency in English (B2/C1 level)
Availability for a remote regime based in Portugal
Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit
