Solutions Engineer at Speechmatics

Partnering with Sales to lead the technical pre-sales process from discovery to close
Understanding customer requirements (security, scale, integrations, accuracy, workflows) and
Building and delivering technical demos, prototypes, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
Deploying and configuring environments in cloud or on-prem setups for customer evaluations
Writing scripts or lightweight integrations (Python or JavaScript) to support demos and customer
Troubleshooting customer challenges and guiding them toward successful outcomes

Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering
Hands-on programming ability, ideally in Python or JavaScript
Comfortable working with APIs (REST and WebSocket), integrations, and technical troubleshooting
Experience deploying or configuring software in cloud, Linux, containers, or networked environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer needs into workable solutions
Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with customers
