Senior Manager, Engineering

📋 Description

• Manage a team of professional employees, occasionally including subordinate M5/M6 managers
• Apply a deep understanding of the business and how your area integrates with others to achieve
• Make decisions that impact the finances, results, effectiveness, and level of service provided by
• Identify and solve functional and organizational problems in a specialized area of expertise
• Own the technical health and delivery of a portfolio of services built on Java, Spring Boot, Python
• Drive architectural governance, engineering standards, and platform quality/performance/reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience managing managers preferred
• Strong technical foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and Python ecosystems
• Data-oriented workloads with NumPy
• Deep understanding of API platforms – REST API design, governance, and Flask-based services
