Commercial Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, including Master Services
• Act as legal lead on strategic and enterprise deals, advising on negotiation strategy, risk
• Partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Compliance and Security teams to align legal
• Provide clear, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders on legal and commercial risk, presenting
• Develop and refine contract templates, playbooks and guidance to support efficient and scalable
• Contribute to the evolution of legal operations, including contract lifecycle management and

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 6–10 years’ post qualified experience.
• Strong private practice training, ideally in commercial, technology or outsourcing work at a
• Subsequent in-house experience, ideally within a technology, IT services, consulting or digital
• Proven experience negotiating complex technology and commercial contracts, particularly IT
• Strong understanding of key contracting risk areas including intellectual property, data
• Commercially astute and pragmatic, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders on risk
