Brand & Web Designer (Shopify)

2+ years of design experience, with a portfolio covering both ecommerce/web and presentation or brand work
Strong in Figma: auto layout, components and organised files a developer can work from
An editorial, elevated eye: considered typography, white space and restraint
Understanding of how ecommerce sites work: product pages, navigation, conversion basics
Able to take a strategy or messy notes and turn them into a clear visual story
Strong written English and proactive, async communication
Independent: this role exists so the founder can creative direct, not manage design day to day
