Job Description

You’ll join Budgetly to help build out the foundations for our Finance function. This role is initially 4 hours per week for equity compensation, and is suited to an individual with the desire to be a part of a startup from the ground up. 

Reporting into the CEO, you’ll help us build out our finance capability. Some of the responsibilities you’ll have:

  • Build out budgets, forecasting, and financial controls 
  • Own the P&L and work with the CEO to best successfully scale and grow the business 
  • Be the internal expert on all things finance and banking, acting as point of contact for outsourced payroll and accounting teams 



Qualifications
  • Experience working in fintech, financial services, technology or payment processing industry
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills 
  • Excellent commercial acumen with strong communication skills 
  • Degree in Finance or Commerce, ideally with an MBA or Masters 
  • Proactive, driven, and self-motivated learner
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing your time and multiple priorities
