Fractional CFO at Budgetly
Job Description

Youâll join Budgetly to help build out the foundations for our Finance function. This role is initially 4 hours per week for equity compensation, and is suited to an individual with the desire to be a part of a startup from the ground up.Â
Reporting into the CEO, youâll help us build out our finance capability. Some of the responsibilities youâll have:
- Build out budgets, forecasting, and financial controlsÂ
- Own the P&L and work with the CEO to best successfully scale and grow the businessÂ
- Be the internal expert on all things finance and banking, acting as point of contact for outsourced payroll and accounting teamsÂ
- Experience working in fintech, financial services, technology or payment processing industry
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skillsÂ
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong communication skillsÂ
- Degree in Finance or Commerce, ideally with an MBA or MastersÂ
- Proactive, driven, and self-motivated learner
- Ability to work autonomously, managing your time and multiple priorities
