Product Designer/UX - Mobile at Gozio

We are seeking a Product/UX Designer to help evolve this rapidly growing platform. In this role, you will join the creative team to play a critical role in the development of our consumer facing products.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other product designers, engineers, product managers and client services teams to solve complex business problems with user-centric design.
• Create end-to-end designs (sketches, low-fi mockups, high fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, etc.) primarily for Gozio's mobile platform.
• Continually refine and iterate on the platform's UX and UI design to improve end user experience.
• Design across the mobile interfaces supported by Gozio: Android and iOS
• Advocate for the user and inspire the Mobile team to go beyond the status quo
• Present designs, prototypes and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Develop design frameworks that are scalable in structure
• Evaluate existing products and recommend optimizations
• Design features across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
• Define problems, goals, map user flows
• Assist with creation of user story acceptance criteria
• Lead design discussions with end users and development teams
• Work closely and collaborate with other designers, engineering, your product owner, lead UI developer and QA to review and design for requirements
• Document intended functionality and design specifications of all workflows via clear documentation
• Perform design acceptance testing as a core phase of our software development lifecycle
• Stay current on relevant industry trends and monitoring competitive products
• Support, contribute too, and maintain Mobile's DLS

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working as a Product Designer, UI/Visual Designer
• Working knowledge of iOS and Android design patterns and terminology

• A portfolio of strong visual design, interaction design. Examples of designs that you have developed from concept to completion.
• Fluency in UX best practices for mobile and responsive web; working knowledge of usability principles, design systems, component-driven design.
• Experience taking projects end-to-end throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Experience with user testing
• Experience working as an embedded designer on a multidisciplinary team, as well as being a member of a larger Design Team.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills, with the ability to understand the needs of the client and the intended audience.

• Strong knowledge of designing/prototyping programs such as Sketch, Invision, Zeplin
• Knowledge of/experience with testing and research tools such as Maze
• Strong sense of user-focused design for mobile
• Strong portfolio of design work
• Ability to clearly articulate your design recommendations through written, verbal and visual communication
• Ability to manage and work on multiple projects concurrently
• Strong understanding of interaction design and fundamental design principles
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to team members
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Experience with design for accessibility on mobile
