Infrastructure and Operations Manager at Gozio

At Gozio, we're redefining the meaning of patient experience in health systems across the U.S. Our mobile platform offers a single point of access for everything a patient or visitor needs, including telehealth, medical records, physician appointments and reminders, and indoor navigation and wayfinding. We help take the stress out of visits to the hospital.

As a manager of the infrastructure team, you will manage a growing team of cloud and devops engineers as you build our cloud based platform. You will play a key role in directing team growth, organizational management, and coordination with internal groups. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the infrastructure and operations team consisting of cloud and devops engineers who work primarily in AWS
• Architect infrastructure for high availability and resiliency; enable disaster recovery and Gozio's maturing SLA obligations
• Develop methodologies to automate cloud architecture and solution deployments in a secure and reliable way
• Create and maintain documentation to support deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of the cloud architecture and solutions
• Assist in contract negotiations for cloud infrastructure technologies and services
• Own administration and user provisioning of key SaaS services
• Coordinate infrastructure team's role in product releases; manage infrastructure backlog accordingly
• Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues, including participation in on-call rotation; perform root cause analysis
• Develop and mentor the growth of engineers on the team; define and execute hiring plan
• Conduct performance reviews and provide career guidance
• Support compliance team with developing and deploying policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience architecting cloud solutions
• 1+ years leading technical projects and/or technical teams
• Expertise with AWS
• Proficiency with Terraform
• Proficiency with monitoring systems such as DataDog or NewRelic
• Proficiency with CI/CD

Ideally:

• Degree in Computer Science
• Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas
• Experience with compliance certification: ISO 27001, HITRUST, or similar
