System Engineer at CDW

CDW is seeking a Systems Engineer for a remote/travel contract to hire opportunity.

Job Type: 6-month contract to permanent hire

Location: HYBRID - 25% Remote (within the US), with 75% travel across US.
• *Ideally looking to hire one person in PST and one person in EST.

Pay Rate: $50-60/hr

Salary: $100-120k

Scope of Work:

One of CDW’s top clients is in need of 2 remote Systems Engineers who are flexible to travel 75% of the time across the US.

This client has ongoing acquisitions, remodels, and relocations and they are looking to add resources to the team to support their rapid growth.

Systems Engineers require 3-5 years of experience with the following:
• Strong Cabling Infrastructure experience
• Basic Networking skills
• MDF (Network Server Rack) experience
• Fortinet experience
• Meraki experience

Responsibilities:
• Assisting with set up of new locations & supporting current shop environments
• Comfortable working as the liaison between customers and client
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be willing to travel nationally (approx. 70-75% of the time)
• End user support
