Job Summary: We are seeking a Power BI developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, crafting and executing queries upon request for data, and presenting information through reports and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:Translate business needs to technical specificationsDesign, build, and deploy Microsoft Power BI interactive and paginated reports and semantic models.Evaluate, maintain, support, and improve existing Power BI reports and modelsConduct integration testing and troubleshootingCollaborate with teams to integrate systemsDevelop and execute data queries and conduct analysesCreate visualizations and reports for requested projectsDevelop and update technical documentation

Requirements:Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Data EngineerFamiliar with dimensional modelingUnderstanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks, and SQL language.Experience creating interactive reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI using the standard visualsExperience creating paginated reports in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar report framework.Experience manipulating and cleaning data using Transform Data and Power Query M query formula language.Comfortable writing simple DAX expressions to build measures and calculated columns.Familiarity with Dynamics 365 & DataverseFamiliarity with Azure Synapse Link for DataverseFamiliarity with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with source control and deployment pipelinesProven abilities to take initiative and be innovativeAbility to demonstrate attention to detail and produce high quality, accurate reports from high-level requirementsAnalytical mind with a problem-solving aptitudeExcellent communication and collaboration skillsCertification as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate a plus
