Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to join our team. This role is responsible for executing prospect-focused integrated marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, generate leads and create and accelerate pipeline for our Sales organization. We are looking for a candidate with a strong operational acumen with expertise in demand generation, growth marketing, and executing multi-channel marketing programs. Candidates should possess an understanding of B2B marketing, with a strong background in pipeline growth, and the ability to make sound business decisions using data.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. They will have the opportunity to shape and build the growth marketing function directly, targeting prospects from the ground up. This role requires strong people skills to build relationships with internal and external business stakeholders and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • In tight collaboration with Sales and the Senior Director of Demand Generation, build and execute the demand generation strategy and plan targeting prospects.
  • Work across marketing and the organization to plan for, execute and optimize multi-channel marketing programs that align to the prospect funnel: Brand Awareness to Opportunity to Close.
  • Generate and nurture leads and pipeline throughout the prospect buyer journey.
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines, resources, processes and technologies.
  • Set and measure progress against goals at each stage of the funnel. Activate optimization strategies. Deliver results against annual lead, pipeline and growth targets.
  • Leverage data to improve targeting and conversion while managing efficiency of spend.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on honing ICP and Sales on target account list identification.
  • Work with the content marketing and product marketing teams to identify and drive the creation of assets to support demand-generation initiatives.
  • Conduct retroactive reviews of campaigns and programs to evaluate performance and outline opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Analyze acquisition strategies, research competitors and talk to our customers to help inform your strategy.
  • Present regular deep-dive reviews of growth marketing performance and business impact to various internal audiences.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have 8+ years of experiencein B2B SaaS organizations overseeing roles in Demand Generation or Growth Marketing targeting the Enterprise.

You should also have:

  • Hands-on knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing and a proven track record of implementing integrated marketing campaigns with successful results. Experience with:
    • Executing brand awareness campaigns
    • Developing marketing programs for lead generation
    • Bottom-of-the-funnel Account-Based Marketing with experience across relevant platforms
    • Overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns across websites, blogs, podcasts, digital advertising, SEM, content marketing, paid social media, webinars, content syndication, direct mail, email marketing, and nurtures.
    • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising: an understanding of the best strategies and channels to activate prospect audiences
  • Knowledge and experience with lead management processes, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
  • Right-brain/left-brain abilities: An innovator willing to test creative new approaches and an analytical and inquisitive mind comfortable working with data to drive meaningful action.
  • A passion for generating results, measurement and optimization to continuously drive performance, growth and ROI.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • An intrinsically motivated individual, a great team player, someone who takes accountability and ownership.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of the SaaS backup space (an asset).
