Mid-level Backend Developer at WATI

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features according to the product roadmap.
• Mentor other developers in the development process.
• Proactively take responsibility for the entire development cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
• 3-5 years of significant experience as a backend developer
• Hands-on programming experience with any language, like: C#, .NET Core, Java, Go/Golang and React.js
• Proficient Mongo/Mongoose for seamless data management.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and the CI/CD pipeline
• Fluency in English and the communication skills to effortlessly collaborate with engineers located globally

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup would be an added advantage

Preferred skills:

• Prefer experience in the payment gateway domain
• Deep understanding of large systems, complex code bases, and version control systems such as Git
• The capability to function without hand-holding and micromanagement
