Job Description
1. Ensure correct documents on time delivery to the authorities through fulfilling daily routine and organizing exceptions with Import – Export Specialists and Export Manager to secure that next steps in the processes are done in timely matter.
2. Maintain a good relationship with Customs officers by communicating to Export Specialist and Export Manager any changes on Customs procedures and/or observations that Customs officers do regarding customs declarations, official letters or processes to keep in good standing the Brand Reputation.
3. Update clearance status to the Export Specialist, and to transportation suppliers, additionally, coordinate with Logistics team for customs inspection in LOM premises adhering to processes.
4. Deliver correct integrated physical documents to Logistics in timely mattere, and communicate to transportation suppliers once delivered, ensuring smooth loaded trailers departure.
5. Transmitt correct information to Mexican Customs and US Customs Brokers during weekend operation through adherence to processes securing compliance standards and Brand Protection.
6. Maintain correctly updated working systems and tools to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost principles.
7. Responsible in daily basis to identify, inform and take action upon risks until are mitigated. Escalate when is needed to the Export Manger.
8. Improve proactively processes proposing improvement ideas or approaches to daily work practices, standards or systems, doing questions, testing assumptions, to prevent errors and at the same time maintaining or even increasing quality on deliverables.
9. Maintain IMS compliance by securing consistency in processes and procedures, keeping a systematic way of working and embed in the daily operation the LCI way of working.
10. Be ready to act as back up in other positions in the department to ensure that operations continuity.
