  • Engage with customers primarily through inbound requests
  • Onboard new customers: validate needs, timelines, risks
  • Drive adoption via hands-on demonstrations and technical workshops
  • Periodically review Kong implementations through health checks
  • Understand and document the customer’s use case, architecture, and roadmap
  • Build relationships as trusted technical advisor

🎯 Requirements

  • 3-5 years hands-on API gateway/API integrations in customer environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical issues
  • Practical working knowledge of APIs and microservices architectures
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Storytelling with data to articulate business value from Kong products
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to represent the voice of the customer
