Senior Engineering Manager, Mobile Capture + SDK Platform at HOVER

📋 Description

• Lead the Capture team for mobile capture workflow and the enterprise SDK.
• Own end-to-end capture experience across iOS/Android and React Native integration.
• Impact scan quality, user success, and enterprise adoption through intuitive design and data.
• Shape the external SDK platform, API lifecycle, versioning, docs, and release processes.
• Improve reliability with observability, crash-free performance, and stable uploads.
• Foster a high-performing team culture with clarity on priorities, planning, and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, incl. 4+ years managing engineers and leading product-focused teams.
• Native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android) at production scale.
• Experience shipping real-time, sensor-driven workflows (camera, scanning, AR, mapping, etc.).
• Experience building/maintaining a developer platform or SDK; API lifecycle, docs, releases.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Design, QA, Support, and Customer teams.
• Proven track record improving reliability, quality, and performance at scale. Bonus points: camera/AR/SLAM, CV; enterprise SDK integrations; mixed native/React Native stacks.
