Material Planning Analyst - Service & Spares at Aurora Innovation
Job Description
📋 Description
- Forecast spare parts demand to maximize uptime and minimize excess inventory.
- Design service network to locate stocking sites by fleet density and lead times.
- Manage core returns; track damaged hardware through repair cycle back into stock.
- Build dashboards to track KPIs: Part Availability, MTTR, Inventory Turns.
- Collaborate with Field Service Eng. to adjust stocking by failure rates and ECOs.
- Coordinate with Procurement to align POs with fleet expansion and consumption data.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years in supply chain/operations, focusing on service parts or reverse logistics.
- Strong ERP/MRP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) with serialized inventory and repair orders.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar; manage large datasets to identify bottlenecks.
- Thrives in an 80% execution / 20% strategy role; automate processes for the future.
- Ability to collaborate with Supply Chain Managers, Field Technicians, and global Procurement.
