Virtual Systems Engineer (VSE) at Extreme Networks

📋 Description

• Conduct meetings with distributors, resellers and customers to highlight Extreme Networks products.
• Provide pre-sales support to Inside Sales, prospects and new customers in DACH.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations showing how solutions meet customer needs and ROI.
• Assist with proofs of concepts and highlight Extreme Networks capabilities.
• Support field sales teams with information and sales efforts.
• Respond to internal/external communications per agreed SLAs.
• Assist resellers/partners with technical design of networking solutions.
• Support education efforts via webinars to keep knowledge up to date.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align initiatives affecting regional sales.
• Provide feedback to R&D from customers and partners.
• Engage with internal engineering communities to share knowledge.
• Attend training to maintain product knowledge and be a resource.
• Collaborate with peers in EMEA on market initiatives to improve service.
• Provide feedback to sales to improve approach and strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of networking and cloud: routing, switching, wireless, Zero Trust Access, AWS, GCP, Azure.
• API integration knowledge and familiarity with Modular Context Protocol and AI prompting.
• Fluent German and English.
• Team player mentality.
• Ability to work outside standard 9-5 hours.
• Bachelor/Engineering degree in CS, Electronics or Telecommunications or equivalent.
