📋 Description

• Own, operate, and improve Cursor’s Databricks and lakehouse infra.
• Build ingestion for first-party product data and 3rd-party systems.
• Ensure observability, alerting, and operational standards across data layers.
• Optimize TB-scale ingestion, resource usage, and cost.
• Codify access control with infra-as-code; evaluate build-vs-buy choices.
• In-person role in SF or NY offices.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time data platform engineering experience.
• Built modern data stacks at a low level, not just written jobs.
• Scaled ingestion of billions of data per day.
• Lead data pipeline orchestration; Dagster experience a plus.
• Want to build foundational systems for scalable data use.
