Senior DevOps Engineer at Deliveroo

📋 Description

• Take ownership of end-to-end infra initiatives: Kubernetes, cloud infra, and networking.
• Design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable AWS systems; coordinate with other teams.
• Build self-service tooling and IaC to let teams provision environments safely.
• Plan improvements using data and metrics to prioritize work.
• Unblock teams via reviews, guides, and internal tech talks.
• Partner with platform teams to align standards and roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record owning complex infra initiatives end-to-end.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Strong AWS experience: networking, IAM, accounts, cost management.
• IaC experience (Terraform preferred) and provisioning frameworks.
• Software engineering skills (Go, Python) for internal tooling.
• Broader knowledge: Kafka, gRPC, Postgres / MongoDB, Redis, GitHub Actions.
