📋 Description

• Carrying out a range of routine microbiology techniques, including aseptic work, dilution
• Producing microbiological proficiency testing and reference material samples to defined
• Performing quality control testing to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Supporting preservation activities, including freeze-drying microorganisms.
• Maintaining laboratory reagents, consumables and stock levels.
• Ensuring laboratory cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards are maintained.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Microbiology or a related Life Sciences subject, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment, either through employment, industrial placement or
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• A proactive and flexible approach to learning and problem solving.
