Lead Mechanical Engineer – Costing & Quoting

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers involved in sourcing, cost estimation, and
• Act as the primary technical expert for complex projects and critical commercial opportunities
• Review CAD models and technical drawings to assess manufacturing complexity, feasibility, and
• Guide the selection of manufacturing processes, materials, and post-processing methods
• Review and validate the technical content of quotations, including manufacturing assumptions, cost
• Lead technical discussions with customers and manufacturing partners to clarify requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment involving complex parts, components, or products
• Previous experience as a technical lead, lead engineer, or senior engineer providing guidance to
• Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, including CNC turning and milling, sheet
• Experience assessing manufacturing costs, including materials, machining time, tooling, and
• Ability to review 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings, identify manufacturing challenges, and
