Engineering Manager, Issue Workflow at Sentry

📋 Description

• Lead and develop engineers for issue surfaces: details, search, alerts
• Provide technical and product guidance; review code and unblock complex problems
• Define team direction, deliverables, blockers, and conflicts
• Talk to customers to understand usage and pain points
• Set plans, delegate, and keep execution on track

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years engineering exp; Python/TypeScript preferred
• 2+ years engineering management experience
• Experience with customer-facing products, ideally dev tools
• End-to-end ownership of a significant product area
• Excellent communication to articulate technical tradeoffs clearly
• Experience with scoping, resource allocation, milestones
